About the game
TurboTide is an arcade racing game on the water for iPhone. You play in portrait with one thumb. Carve through waves, boost, launch off ramps and pull tricks in the air. It is inspired by the arcade racers of the early 2000s, with original characters and made-up sponsors.
The download is free and includes two courses, Stadium Harbor and Sunset Harbor, and three riders: Jett, Tangi and Suki. Primeval Delta, Frostbite Fjord and Hikari City can be raced by watching a short optional ad. A single one-time purchase, the Full Game, opens all ten courses (adding Serpent Temple, Kingsmoat, Twister Bay, Gravewood Manor and Crystal Deep), the riders Rio, Mika, Skye, Dex and Kai, and removes all ads. There are no subscriptions.
Controls
How do I steer?
Put your thumb anywhere in the bottom part of the screen and drag left or right. Push further to carve a tighter turn.
How do I boost?
Ride through the boost canisters to fill the boost bar at the top right. When it says BOOST READY, swipe up.
How do I do tricks?
Tricks work on big jumps, while you are in the air:
- Swipe down for a backflip.
- Flick quickly to the side for a barrel roll.
- Double-tap for a 360 spin.
Finish the trick before you land, or you wipe out.
Purchases and codes
How do I restore my purchase on a new iPhone?
Sign in with the same Apple Account you used to buy the Full Game. Open the game, go to Settings and tap RESTORE PURCHASES (it is also on the Full Game screen). The Full Game is a one-time purchase and works on all your iPhones with that Apple Account.
Why do some courses show an ad?
Primeval Delta, Frostbite Fjord and Hikari City can be raced by watching a short video ad. Ads only play when you tap to watch one, never during a race. If you've used today's ad races on a course, come back tomorrow, or get the Full Game to race every course anytime with no ads.
Will new courses be included?
The Full Game includes all ten courses in the game today and keeps ads off for good. Courses added in later updates may come as separate course packs.
I have a code. Where do I enter it?
Open Settings, tap CHEAT CODE, type the code and tap ENTER. The App Store checks the code and, if it is valid, unlocks the Full Game just like the purchase. Each code works once.
I paid but the courses did not unlock or the ads are still there.
- Check that you have an internet connection.
- Tap RESTORE PURCHASES in Settings, or on the Full Game screen.
- Make sure you are signed in with the Apple Account you used to buy it (Settings app, then your name, then Media & Purchases).
- Close the game fully and open it again.

How do I get a refund?
Apple handles all payments and refunds. Request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue refunds ourselves.
Progress, records and Game Center
Where is my progress saved?
Your progress, best times, initials and settings are saved only on your iPhone. Deleting the app erases them, and we cannot get them back. Your purchase is not lost: restore it with RESTORE PURCHASES.
How do the worldwide leaderboards work?
If you are signed in to Game Center, every Time Trial you finish sends your time to that course's leaderboard. Open Records and tap GAME CENTER to see them. Game Center is optional.

Which devices are supported?
iPhone with iOS 17 or later. The game runs best on iPhone 12 or newer.
